About Xyra
Born in Germany to American parents, Xyra has lived in the US most of her life. However, she travels with her English husband, Andrew Cann, as often as possible.
Xyra is a published writer, songstress, recording artist, former radio host, and celebrity photographer, who is also a long-time student of metaphysics.
Over the years, she has investigated, studied and/or become certified in various religious and spiritual disciplines, to include Kundalini Yoga, Reiki Energy Healing, and Angel Therapy®.
Xyra's goal has always been to understand why we are here and what we can do to improve our lives and the lives of others. Therefore, she supports those who wish to heal and protect our natural Earth environment, including animal, plant, and mineral life.
Her philosophy rests on the belief that we must realize the spiritual connection between all beings. She believes this realization is vital to attaining genuine happiness, thus better enabling us to serve the greater good.
Raised Christian, to include Christian Science, Xyra has also explored and/or practiced Buddhism, Hinduism, Kundalini Yoga, Divine Manifestation, clairvoyance, clairaudience, psychometry, Reiki, Wicca, and Rosicrucianism, while consciously utilizing The Law of Attraction.
Xyra's faith is based on the Cosmic Christ, allowing space for God to show His/Her face to anyone. All aspirant paths lead to the center, in her view. Portending the Love and Light of Christ, she does not judge others for their religious beliefs. Focusing on the goals, Karma, and gifts of the individual is one of Xyra's best qualities.
Xyra's quest for truth led her to explore the inspired works of Edgar Cayce, Rudolf Steiner, Ruth Montgomery, Venice Bloodworth, Ernest Holmes, Isabel Hickey, and Louise Hay, among others.
Following in her maternal grandfather's footsteps, Xyra became a member of the Ordo Rosae Crucis. However, she does not follow fully any doctrine laid out by human means, but keeps and open heart and mind to receive Divine guidance from the source of all knowledge, transcending caste and creed.
Xyra received Angel Therapy Practitioner® training and certification in Kona, Hawaii by psychotherapist, metaphysician, and renowned Hay House author, Doreen Virtue, PhD. In addition, she received Reiki training and certification from Reiki Master and founding president of Alva Center for Holistic Healing, Sarjoni Alva Changkakoti.
